No Place To Go

It’s easy to say that you don’t love me, It’s easy to keep in touch, It’s easy to go back to the way things were, It’s easy to die inside when you do. Imagining you with someone else, Believing that you could say the same things to her, Thinking that I was just another one, Crushes the pillars of my sanity. You want to see this show, To delight in the abyss that is my mind, And so prove your self-worth, Since it was you who drove me to it. Have your way, Dance on the remains of my humiliated heart, As we used to dance together, To the melodies we loved.
