No One's There - Paz

there comes a time when we'll no longer cast
                  a shadow
and words once spoken - become the silent prayers of
those who still remember our seemingly short existence
           and all the memories therein...

there is a convergence, an implosion of emotions
that appear ~ and then, at once are gone, leaving us
Alone in a crowded room
          within which, even "we"
                    disappear...

The winners' list holds your name as one of the winners. I am so delighted to see it there. Congratulations to you and way to go. Sara K.

I relate and it's a feeling I quickly try to shake off as its weight is uncomfortably heavy. There is comfort in knowing others are likewise emotionally/memory sabotaged. My pain is the feeling no one's implosion of emotions includes me (no need to soothe me, I'm good, it's a natural impact from living an Army brat life.) Is Alone the only capitalized word for impact? Congratulations, Craig
