goodbye my lover

maybe someday
our paths will cross again
but for now I dream our memories.
hopeful for the future
yet wise enough to know
I shouldn't sit back
and wait for you

love doesn't cease in existence
in quite such a fashion,
but merely fades into a new revised form.
still dreaming.
in truth,
my love still remains for you
through broken hearts
pray they mend with little sorrow.
