No Need To Worry
The water on the most heavenly lake envies your eyes
Because they glisten more beautifully than it could ever dream of
And I can’t help but stutter when the thoughts arise
Of how I can tell you the extent of my love
When you turn now faced towards me from looking away
And the dark skies recede expelling the grey
I can fall into love for the millionth time
With the most gorgeous girl who’s face is sublime
And no rhyme could ever think of doing you justice
For every time I pleaded to God for a change
The angels in heaven assured me “just trust us”
The virtue of patience works in ways that are strange
As I lie here in bed blind of what to say
My mind goes back to when you talked to me that day
And when that night came and we danced and you let
Me give you my first kiss that I will never forget
I’d like to take a second to mention thank you
For showing me that love can still grow in the shade
As I watch the rain down your face at the lake just us two
I soak in every drop and pray it won’t fade
You’re a sunset that wishes the horizon goodnight
And I cry when you go transcending my sight
Every waking moment with you I want to stay
So I can collapse into your heart and drift away
I want to hold hands with you forever
And I want to drown in the depths of your sea
I want to float with you like a feather
And I want you to fall in and take me
Hi, all quiet like you say
I love who you are and I will until my last day
We can take it slow, we don’t have to hurry
You’re the girl I want, and there’s no need to worry
