No More War

NO MORE WAR
There goes my friends marching off to war
Still don’t know what the hell we’re fighting for
Some will survive
But others must die
No we don’t want to fight anymore
Will see some of my friends for the last time
Oh it feels like life is such a crime
They will be no parade
Same old masquerade
But a lot of people say it will be fine
Please help us to try and understand
Why we have to go to another land
They say that it’s right
For us to fight
Cause we’ve got to lend a helping hand
Now it’s time for our soldiers to be coming home
Oh Lord a lot of them will be left alone
War is just a lie
To many people die
But now you have to face the fact your friends are gone
