No More Laughter

The seasons have changed us the dead do not come back from the war The seasons have changed us The bloodthirsty call fot more the wind will not subside we realize we're in for quite a ride The seasons have changed us Makes little difference if we have dreams we're pinned down by a rock the seasons have changed us We can't open our hearts - there's a lock and we feel ourselves sliding down a slippery slope The seasons have changed us One last look at dying hope Absolute silence Peace at the end That's the message I send

Matt, I love the sad atmosphere of your poety, this one no exception. Loved the refrain running thru this one too! Luv, Andrea
