I guess there were plenty of laughs at Ethyl's funeral Jan. The problem with clowns is you don't know whether they're being fair-dinkum or not. Thank you Jan for another bout of wit - Lindsay

I will never leave the site Rick and will always try and make folk smile I've had so many mails from people saying how much they miss my poems and how they brighten their day, Just back for a few contests still taking much needed time out from soup though :-) hugs Jan xx

Ethel Brown was a smelly clown whose flatulence was known all over town. She didn’t care she’d let them rip. The last time so hard it made her trip. So sad so sad she now Rests in Pease, the weeping weeping did hardly cease. Yes the air is so much fresher I guess true diamonds are made under pressure.

I have two friends who are clowns. I believe they probably will be buried with their red noses on. Lol. Nice one.

Brilliant, Jan! Destined for a top win indeed! Glad Cecil the Magician epitaph gladdened your heart. Here's another: "Buster was shot while fencin' his plunder; Now he lies molderin' six feet under!" or "Bob sank without a trace & things looked grim; He tried to tell 'em he couldn't swim!"
