No More

No more smiles, Since you left, Too many miles, To walk alone, My breathing is heavy, I fight back a groan, Now the sound of thunder, Sounds so good, I wonder, Is God also grown so sad, At the end of the love we had? So many pointless miles to walk, So many empty words of wasted talk, Each minute a month long pain, Each sad thought falls like rain, I can't help, but to wonder, If I had any impact at all on her? Years wasted in non-ending abuse, In the scheme of things, to what use? Gotta chalk this life off as a failure, Maybe better luck next time through, In the meantime I will wander, With little else to do.
