No Love
If I don't find a lover who loves me true,
I'll keep my heart locked away, untouched and anew.
Why should I shed tears, just to love in vain,
Or kneel down, begging for love that's not gained?
Love should unfold naturally, without a fight,
A gentle breeze that whispers sweet delight.
It shouldn't be forced, or bought, or sold,
But a genuine connection, that touches the soul.
If I don't have someone to love, I'll be just fine,
For I'm a man of integrity, with a heart that's divine.
I'm not a cheater, a player, or a deceiver too,
I'm genuine and real, with love that's pure and true.
I yearn for a love that's God-fearing, and kind,
A woman of honor, with a heart that's aligned.
Someone who'll love me, for who I am, without a test,
And cherish our bond, with love that's forever best.
If I don't have a lover, why should I despair?
For my worth isn't defined, by love that's not there.
If you don't love me, why should I compel?
I'll let love unfold, in its own time, and its own spell.
