No Longer Mine

I pick up the words that are no longer mine
And it returns me again to an older time
A place polluted with a thousand memories
To experience again whilst paying the fee

Moments thought lost forever in time
Like tears on my face in the pouring rain
Dealt with once then but what remains
Just the lyrics of a remembered refrain.
