No Longer Gods


Innocence smiles
eyes close
the world sleeps

babies born beneath
blue sky bruised grey
cry crocodile tears

we are children 
warring in a playground
out of time

where teachers
are no longer gods
the bell rings

turn it off
numb the rhyme

The atrocities happening involving women and children. Everyone in Ukraine. It is heart breaking, watching and reading, when they are over there living in it with real monsters, worse than any nightmare. And being passive and reliant on the leadership of the 'free world' to unite to effectively and efficiently bludgeon the Jabberwocky.
