No Light
what reflects off the ocean if there is no light?
to provide a guide,
you cant see the sky,
the moon has hid its shine,
and the sun has closed its gates,
so there is no more emotions to embrace,
because when i look into the water waiting to look at my face,
i cant see if those are tears or sweat,
running a relay race,
the summer wind has warmed me,
unnatural because I'm always cold,
you touch my hand you can feel the ice set in my veins,
maybe its all the hate,
i kept in all these years,
or maybe love has become cold because of my fears,
just so you will hear ill shout it in your ear,
so you can see that winter had dyed my soul,
the dry wind had tore to the core,
but ill never be,
but ill be a half of his whole,
and like that I'm not cold,
and love never for me was an auction so it wasn't sold,
love cant be bought with paper so i paid with my heart and that's worth more than gold
