No Innocent, Wilma

No, innocent Wilma everything
you dreamed of cost you another wing
and you can't fly anymore into a sky...
where all are free to explore infinity!

Yes, innocent Wilma I am the one to blame
for your high hopes, I lit the illusive fire
of passion in a naive girl trapped in my game,
and whatever I said was an unforgivable lie!

I regret the kisses I stole and the words that meant to deceive,
I could have avoided your pain had I been true to you, dear;
your tears are my own tears and you should never forgive
someone so heartless, I deserve no mercy: it's crystal clear!

No, innocent Wilma I fabricated schemes...
gave you a heaven so far from happiness;
ah, you believed me and showed no single doubt:
you didn't suspect anything from the very start!
