This little poem describes the cat and mouse chase in one of my own love stories. A determined pursuit of a galant heart ready for love, discovering it behind the expression upon the face of one who is in stubborn denial; and it is the sight of her love that affixes him to know that he will win her if he doesn’t relent of her fierce refusal to accept the truth speaking softly within her heart that she truly does wants him. Soon, she can no longer deny true love’s undeniable hold when embraced within in his arms.

NO GREATER FEAT No greater feat now, no conquest higher; than to rescue thine heart to its own desire. Must you be in such anguish, at my arrival? I shall save thee now to a passion's revival. Fear now no longer that I cannot see, how your heart doth race at the mere sight of me. Raise the stakes, wear the mask of transparency, nothing shall avert my pursuit of thee. For there will be no relent, nor will I retire, until harnessing the love I can see, within thy hidden fire.
