No Going Back

One missed opportunity To retreat back into the womb from despair To live in the warmth and care In a bubble once loved and shared But by force pushed away from my dreaming I came in kicking and screaming Oh please oh please Hear my desparate pleas Please send me back I will beg on my knees But such is my lot Like it or not Thrust deep in the mayhem With nary a thought Im left to face just one fact There's no going back. Once you depart from the light Life slowly fades to black

Ha, no going back. I like the imagery plus, the kicking and screaming while being pulled out from the comfort. However, I don't know if I agree with the end. Unless I'm reading wrong. We enter a journey, with stones, puddles, and heartbreak. Once we exit the second time, everything comes to a complete stop, then our destination back into the womb of bliss slowly gives us the opposite of what we once had. Linda
