No God You Say

no god you say
but I tend to disagree
look up in the bluest of skies
where angels put on a show
for us on earth every day
look at the beautiful flower on display
for your pleasure
what about the breeze
cooling you on a warm day
the rain falls to quench your thirst
giving life to all things great
how you live your life is your business
but I hope one day
I am prepared to face the god I chose
give thanks for all I have
ask him to forgive
be merciful
