Notes About The Poem

No Goals To Chase

No goals to chase, flow at an easy pace
Floundering in darkness, our souls disgrace
Feeble is our stance, with lost innocence
Head-heart imbalance, deaf to bliss cadence
Till by Gods grace, we see Him face to face

Our glowing heart has no puzzles to lace
Sanctum of love, our inner holy place
Carefree dance, forging with joy alliance
No goals to chase

With divine assistance, ego deface
No-thing remains, in vibrant, empty space
Brightly glows, our radiant countenance
By Gods will, reclaim self-luminescence
Leaving no residue that light can trace
No goals to chase

So lovely Seeker. So well thought out and beautifully expressed. As long as God is pleased with us we don't have to worry about anyone else. Great Stuff. God Bless, JB

God doesn’t judge us, we judge ourselves in the domain of love & light, then realising that what we did to others, we were actually doing to ourselves. Hence karma.

A fascinating penning, Seeker:-) I really enjoyed reading it. One of these days I'll try this form!

I like Rondeau, has an in-built rhythm to it by virtue of it’s designed format and refrain

We should have only one goal. It lies above.

How are you doing Victor? I hope you are well now. The goal … God … is within. Ego disappears, God appears. The reverse is also true, unfortunately.
