No Face
I’ve been tried,
Tried,
And tried again,
Overwhelmed with anxiety,
I see no future,
With bright lights,
And vibrant sights,
I stand to be,
Another sheep,
In this herd of patients,
Devoured by the world of psychiatry, we march on,
Though I-
I seem to be marching backwards,
Into that hole I found at 14,
I am another,
Just another,
Bad case,
Case,
Case with issues,
Another name on a folder,
I live here in this place,
A place where I have no face,
No distinguishing features from which to discern,
Myself from others,
I have no face,
No face in this place.
