No Excuses

Something I said or did not say?
Something I did or did not do?
Don't get the painful game you play
I want to remain friends with you

So sorry...didn't mean to offend
Thought we were giggling and poking fun
How can I ever make amends?
When I don't know the CRIME I have done

Not one single peep THAT'S for sure
Since that night we talked on the phone
At least break this silence of yours
Say "Go to hell" or "Leave me alone"

Don't just toss off a foolish old man
With a flip of your hand with no frets
We are here for such a short span
I won't waste it, yet still "All regrets"

really nice and entertaining to read. I could see it stemmed from a real place or emotion

There is nothing more frustrating or hurtful, than to be shut out...and not know why! Women ....yes...we can be difficult and often expect a man to "read our minds"!! (Oh oh...did I just admit to that??!!)

Some of us turn inward and become silent when we are hurt. Maybe you could send her a single rose and just tell her you miss her company. I know that would work for me! Hope it all works out for you, Tim. I've enjoyed reading your work today. Your writing is very direct and definitely sparks an emotional response. Nicely written! Love, Carolyn

Interesting take on a disagreement between two people probably of the opposite sex. You'll probably never get it and she won't get you. Men are from Mars and women from Venus. Sara
