No Erotica Or Sacrilege

no erotica or sacrilege Who shall define these terms and inflict it on all others condemning to a barren life Oedipus and his brothers condescendingly control what is deemed as holy while holding up to ridicule beliefs they hold as folly. Who will determine what is right and consequently what is wrong trapped in their esoteric robes condemning those in freedom’s thong. For there are those, who just as you condemn you for the things you do in defiance of their laws extermination of your flaws and so to set the Druids free would cut down every freakin’ tree hide beneath erotic drape every hint of sex or shape while giving glory to some belief passed down from ancient hate that suffering’s the will of god and pain the fee for heaven’s gate. So beware the “hand of god” in chainmail glove and scented ink policing how we feel and speak restricting how we write - and think. John G. I think most people can learn right from wrong on their own. I believe in letting your conscience be your guide... This poem is very well written and rhymed, John. It provokes such deep thoughts. Congrats on a great win!

I really like this one. I can't put a finger on why exactly but it seems to rattle in my brain quite nicely. Congrats on your first place win.
