Paula, I wonder how many readers came to this poem via the title. Then, I wonder how many of them expected something entirely different? Will never know, but I can't believe the number of people who have read and comment on it. Interesting.....

Thanks, Andrea. I have great difficult with what I call "corrupted forms," and I don't know why. I had to work on this one at the last moment to keep it from being "regular." Anyway, moving right along....he who comes in last at least finishes the race!

It was amazing to find out that sea anemones are aquatic, predatory, and poisonous. Best of luck in the contest

Alexis, I'd say it is rather hard to pass once one sees that title. Oh, well, I couldn't figure out how to fit it into the haiku of three lines. So, I made it the title. Thanks for reading!

I would think so. I learned so much about sea anemones in preparing for this little seventeen syllable haiku. I had half a page of five and seven syllable lines, but was restricted to a mere three. Anyway, it was educational.

Yep, it appears that's how the sea anemone propagates itself, apparently not needing any help. I am guessing, then, that the creature is both male and female. And, my, what problem we have understanding humans with sexual anomalies. Interesting, isn't it?

Thanks, Mystic. I wasn't sure this would go by the censor, but apparently it did. I learned a lot about the sea anemone and thought it would be a good entry. Thanks for the GL wishes!
