No Conclusion

Perspective, a spiritual experience
Have I forgotten the nature of independence?
All day long, I'm imprisoned by my conscience
Entertaining the game of my past resentment
Can anyone elude from what is evident?

My heart is heavy with persistent contrition
Haunted by the reality of an empty illusion
A light approaching that may seem distant
Overwhelmed by love that appeared to be constant

All it takes is simple submission
Manipulated by the human condition
Oh my God! Hear me as I pray
Do what you must to make me go away
