No Clarity But Surrender

Chuck this hierarchy
Want to scramble this all consuming
Top down conceit
From cradle to courthouse
Ambitious frog leaps fall prey
To slithering whispers
And the accountability of thieves-
Mercurial hoods tying paysheets
To what the body believes
An aching nuisance scraping the face of disguise
Men on wheels shouting fingers
Placing boulders on the shoulders of mercy

The mind untangles during knots of sleep
Rigged dice beckon with the bounty of ecstasy
To stretch this awakening across the goal line
But the body is weak at every gate
There is no clarity but surrender
