No Ceremony For Second Place

When i was in little league
 they tried givin me
A trophy for  2nd place
During the ceremony i instantly
Turned it, down because i hadn't earned it
2nd place nope, i dont deserve it
Nobody deserves a celebration
Simply for there participation
Because If you think your winning,
when your not
I guarentee that you
Will never be on top
Most things worth having
Are not easily gotten
But once you get them
there rarely forgotten
Forget instant gratifacation
What happen to delayed appreciation
