No Caution

There was no caution when
you loved me with your wildflower eyes
we hung the sun, the moon, the stars,
rocked the world and spun them all.

On the seventh day we rested
danced our blues across the sky
time a bridge suspended,
we will never die
because there was no caution when you
loved me with your wildflower eyes.
