No Car No Wife No Money

I have no car, I have no wife, Guess that's the story of my life

Got married in my early twenties
Had no car, Had no money

I fell in love with this girl named Honey
Got a part-time job mowing grass
Finally had a little chance

Bought a new TV, Black n white
Always in bed early, tossed and turned every night

My Honey went to work at a local store
Wasnt a Walmart, Not one in sight
But that soon changed overnight

Bought a used Pinto , Thought i was class
A little bitty car didn't use much gas
Bought a little kitten, Then a pup
Then the Pinto and I ran outta luck

Got hit in the rear the damn car blew up
Really put me in a rut

Had some burns a few minor cuts
Think my Honey was gonna go nuts
Honey its ok im all right

"Well, how do I get to work tonight? "

At the store where she worked, she ended up in a fight
Went to jail 4 days 3 nights
Then when I thought I couldn't take any more
She ran off with the guy next door

There I was no car, no life no money
No little girl I called Honey

Turned on the radio what do I hear?

Willie n Waylon crying in beer
Think that's bad, They should be here
Had no glass, much less a beer

Had to get a job close to my tent, Had no money to pay no rent
Found a job 2 miles away
Pumpin gas, So little pay

Met a girl I liked a lot
2 months later we tied the knot

Sure wasnt gonna call her Honey
She made my life bright, called her Sunny
Then 2 months later, it sure wasn't funny
She worked in a bank, Stole a lot of money
Put in prison, 10 to 20

Not gonna mention the other 3 wives
I'm just lucky to survive

It all comes down to this
None of them do I miss
But all in all, Lifes ok
I'm still alive in the USA
Still No Car, Still No Money
But that's ok, Life is funny

Don't need No car, No Wife, No Money
