Nitro's Last Joke

There's a cockney name Terry, loves to joke
Nitro, his cat is easy to provoke
Nitro slept under the chair.
Terry in his lion's lair
Got up; in doom and gloom a hollow broke.

Big OOPS! Eve, you must think me very rude. I have been away from soup for a while so I hadn’t seen this poem until I literally stumbled across it just now. Thanks for the ‘tribute’, I’m most flattered. I had felt my muse thinning for a while, so I set about trying to do an A-Z of animal based poems… then, because I’m me, I decided to illustrate them. Problem… I don’t draw. But I am getting there. Just not always sure the poems are ‘kiddy’ enough. Time will tell. Terry
