Nighttime Lullaby

As evening turn into night
                                      Birds nestled in their nest
Moon in the diamond studded sky
Dew is gathering on the grass
The air filled with the scent of roses
The quiet of the night is broken
With the hoot of owls and
                                      Chirps of crickets
                                      In perfect lullaby harmony
                                      The day has ended
As I lay my head on the pillow
And I fall asleep to the sound
                                      Of the Nighttime Lullaby
