I agree with Victor that night and darkness are mostly associated with a dark act or pain, but one must realize that it is the time to rest, to gather thoughts for a new dawn which will bring thousand more opportunities, and sometime darkness in life is also neccessary because there's no light without dark. Have you ever tried to close your eyes and just observe the darkness, after a while you will find peace, that peace is the peace of darkness, I enjoyed reading this poem of yours, good luck
