Nights In a Skinbottle

I wish I had somewhere to lay my head
when I feel like this
I push myself
to avoid the world
and drowning in my own broken soul
Everything's brought back on night's like
these and I relive the memories
but no one knows
my tears choke my words
and my fears keep me silent
when I'm trying to recover inside
my scars are deep and unresolved
which is why I remain distant
I run away to start anew
hoping it will make a change
but I forget to leave it behind
so I end up packing it with me
One day I'll find my final solution
and someone who fully sees
But for now I'll go back to my "happiness"
until these nights come again
