Night's Embrace
Evil unmasks within Night's embrace;
assured that no one can see its face.
And patrons of darkness clap with joy,
applauding the tricks, tricksters employ.
In the darkest shadows of the Night:
a vampire's kiss morphs into a bite.
And as blood splatters the edge of time,
desire and eternity combine.
Two immortal hearts now beat as one:
merging, in the shadow of the sun.
And consummate their union with blood:
consumed in an emotional flood.
Sweet ecstasy, distilled from the dark:
quenches raw desires; primal and stark.
And befitting creatures of the Night:
silhouettes morph into bats in flight.
