Notes About The Poem

NIGHT’S BEAUTY

Yes, beauty does walk

In the blackness of night:-

Each day, the sun leaves behind

The night–

Reflect all that was missed–

As it wearily walks across the sky

To slowly sit upon

The waiting horizon’s golden bed:-

The ebony essence

Of night’s beauty

Lies in the truth of the day,

And is reflected

In the purity of her blackness:

She mirrors her moonlight eye:-

Indeed, it is in the beauty of darkness,

That we are ever in assurance of enlightenment:-
