Nightmares In Paradise
I sit looping nightmares in paradise
perfuming my skin with rose scented tears;
My mind keeps replaying my deepest fears;
With you nothing feels like a sacrifice
attraction suffocates and smells so nice;
Seeing you smile my mind completely clears;
All of my hesitation disappears;
I know now I don’t need my own advice;
The optimism that you bring to me
administering peace I am stable;
Flying on happiness I’ve never known,
no matter what I trust you completely;
It leaves me feeling impenetrable,
reminiscent of petals made of stone.
