Nightmare's Battlefield

The night begins to turn to day
Our tribe marches near the bay
Night's shadow embraces day light
A lonesome beam catches my sight
The sound of gunfire I prone down low
My heart is racing I clench my bow
Smoke from gunbursts turns day to night
Pulling the string I launch the arrow of despite
Feeling my thoughts they start to scare
Losing my soul as I breathe poisoned air
Watching the grss which was green turn red
I wake nervous and sweating on top of my bed
As I look out the window day is still night
Wondering when I will return to the fight...
