Nightmare Strums the Loom

Nightmare strums the Loom

A dream I guess perhaps it was
I seemed a child at play
An angry father did appear
His temper foul that day

You let the dog kill the cat
He loudly said to me
Grabbing the dog
And it went splat
Little dog he died you see

I was shocked awake
By the violent scene
And looked across the room
Grey ghostly cat went zip and back
Grey doggie was there soon

Do we travel in our sleep
Old adventures other tunes
Another place and time we creep
When Nightmare strums the loom
