Nightmare

July 13
 2014.......Nightmare

Clouds blind the sun
Heartbeats echoe in the skies
As did yesterday's thunder
Eyes gaze in the skies
their sparks reflect back to the earth
like lightening weaving webs in the inert air
Anachims have invaded the land

Tongues tied by fear
Lips glued by fright
Our chief sacrificed
To the god of torture

Humans turn statues
lifeless like aringa ora
Of Easter Island
Statues turn robots
programmed by the Anachims
to obey none's voice but theirs....

Lucky souls flee to distant lands
Anachims dismantle the robots
for reasons I never can tell
their blood ..
fill the canals
fuel the vehicles
irrigate the fields.......

The morning cock crowed
I woke up from sleep
I heaved a hissing sigh
Cos it was only a nightmare
