Nightmare

          the loss of a child 
    defies the law of nature;
         a living nightmare.
  children bury their parents
 and not the other way round.
 
             it's unthinkable.
a most painful kiss goodbye;
        absolute nightmare
  that parents live every day, 
and there's no waking from it.
