Night Time Has Come To Soon

The leaves have fallen off
of all your trees
The roses on the outside
are dying
The air is chill
with a hint of sorrow
as you lay there
with no tomorrow
I wish I could hold onto you
just a little longer
but for you to linger on
would be your own pain
So I won't wish for things
That cause the rain

Your bed is cold
where did your warmth go
Did it go
where dreams never die
surrounded by love
no more desire

All I know
of things I lost
Night time has come too soon
