Night Sounds

Outside my window on a dusty cobbled Beach street Each sound I hear a vision Blooming in night air A voice calling tamales in drawn-out lamenting sounds A moto buzzing by throwing Grainy sandy sounds Dogs set to barking from a pair of passers-by Deep baritone serenading soprano sounds echoing down the lane in high sigh sound As neighbors quiet sounds Reach children Settled In sounds The swooshing of Wave sounds All Around The town sounds I hear Bedtime’s come written 5-23-2020 Best Free Verse 2020 John Hamilton sponsor

Each sounds brings forth a visual to our mind, Jeanne. Wait till the summer temperature rises and we have to sleep with open windows! Then you'll have many more sounds to deal with. ~ Regards // paul

When the quarantine lifts there will be so many more people out in the night when it is coolest here...I love hearing it start to quiet...tonight the sliver moon and venus are out...beautiful sight.
