Night Shift

Let’s talk to the moonlight
Telling her, our stories
recording our songs
Sang on a cold night

Let’s pray to the twinkly star
Calling on her cold embrace
As our skin folds in response
While we are covered in each others breath
Mixing every notes with heart lines

Journeying into this paradise of ours
Walking side by side till forever’s end
as legends of old worn novels once walked
from Romeo et Juliet to Simi in Gold
sinking teeth, nails and hook all at once

Let’s stay on this trail from dusk to dawn
With time the price of this Trip
through the winter storm
And the fleeting rains casting a silhouette of our presence
Enjoying the shift in night’s moment
To create a memory of a life time
