night owls gift
owl guarded the owl pellet house nightly
bats tried to get him to move
but he was a serious guardian
the inhabitants were from another world
helpless to defend themselves in this realm
he insured their safety
the aliens owed him a mountain of debt
before they left, they granted owl a power
he chose invisibility, thus becoming a most dangerous predator
his gift was well earned and appreciated
night owl loved his gift
