Night of Solitude

Amidst the darkness of the night
  Devour a deaf silence nigh
Gazing at divergent penumbra
  Like a reflection  of nostalgia

A seemingly mystical instinct
  Like a metaphor of an angel
Ever guiding, ever attending
  I'm amazed and mesmerized
