Night May Be Dark Sometimes

Night May be Dark Sometimes

Night may be dark sometimes
With no lights around me
Hills,meadows shaded black
No shadows on still waters
Light peeps through a cloud crack.

Night may be dark sometimes
Filling my space so empty
With darkest thoughts of fear
In the derp wilderness
Somehow there is a cheer.

Night may be dark sometimes
Seeing dimmed; lonely too
With nothing much in sight
Laughter seems distant dream
Though I see, streak of light.

Night nay be dark sometimes
Eight hours ere I wake
Another day, new hope
Lies before waking eyes
Meeting the turn of  globe
