Beginning with a twinkle
Falling softly from the dark skies
Stars reaching down, embracing
Charming the yearning heart
Gentle, comforting lights
Moonbeams whisper laughter
Through the murkiest night
Tenderly piercing the blackness
With rays of heavenly glitter
Peppered across smoky blankets
Fireflies dance, shimmering
Captivating flames of brilliance
Vibrating in halos of sacred
Explosions from the sighs
Blazing, glowing, kindling inspiration
Ending with the dawn breaking
Carrying the sunlight on shoulders
Of dark shadows reaching
Across the seas of serenity
Into the heart of love’s capabilities
From start to finish – beginning to end
There is a quiver of pleasure
Felt by the spirit’s sensibilities
Erasing the darkness with a feeling
A breathless caress trickling within
Where joy confesses to silence
That quiet is a kindness so alive
It dreams in rich colors, brilliance
Flaming darts of healing, fulfillment
Lighting the eyes in sparkles
Dazzling so they radiate with love
Sent down from God above
Night thrives with reflections
Of this heavenly light!
Hues of grace tenderly awakening
Prayers and praise – pure peace
That comes from knowing the One
Who sends down that genuine love
