Notes About The Poem

Night Is Gently Falling

“The sky prepares the sun for night
Where drifting clouds are slowly steeping
In tepid pools of waning light”
A silent world prepares for sleeping

“Where drifting clouds are slowly steeping”
Creatures of the night draw near
A silent world prepares for sleeping
Daylight makes a quick withdrawal

Stars hide waiting to appear
“In tepid pools of waning light”
The moon awaits her curtain call
“The sky prepares the sun for night”

Creatures of the night draw near
“In tepid pools of waning light”
Daylight makes a quick withdrawal
“The sky prepares the sun for night”

I don't find pantoums easy to write Suz but you've written it well, best of luck in the contest. Hope your Sunday is going well. Tom
