Night Creature

Darkness enfolds me, creature of the night.
It holds me, molds me, creature of the night.
Asks me from where I came, what is my plight.
To feel, to love, to romance, dance and fight.
To burn, to yearn, to understand and to learn.
This is my right as a creature of night.
Why does this shade call? It is not for all.
The fact within, I am not other men.
Night is my blanket. I'm lost without it.
I feel naked in light, creature of night.
Accept me my love, darkness from above.
Hold me in your arms. Bestow me your charms.
Protect and guide me through your mystery.
Show me your site, your creature of the night.
