Night
Sun slowly sinks closing yet another day
Warm golden rays caress the earth's orb
Moonlight peeps through drifting clouds
Stars twinkle suspended from heaven's realm
Silvery shadows slide as dark hues hide
A mist rolls in with silent ease
Wraps around and gives a squeeze
A dead calm smothers daylight to night
Moments frozen in feathery white.
