Night
As the girl sits in the
moonlight,
With the sky dark and blue,
As the girl sits in the
moonlight,
The stars are fading from view.
She dreams of a starry night.
As the boy sits in the starlight,
With the sky red and bright,
As the boy sits in the starlight,
The moon fades from the
night.
He dreams of a moonlit night.
As the couple sits on a hill,
Together to view the dawn,
They see the light coming so
bright,
And they dream of a kiss
goodbye.
The couple parts,
Taking opposite paths down
the hill.
Back down they go,
To their separate homes.
To their separate lives.
And they dream of a kiss
goodnight.
