Night
Shhhh! The rain silences my scream.
A whispered hiss, solemnly unintended.
Drip, Drip.
It bleeds poison on my rooftop.
I am shaken from my terror.
Tisk, Tisk. The winds breathe
Shakes through the trees.
It wakes me from my nightmare.
A favor, might you say.
But I'm still knee-deep in my own fear.
FLASH!
Lightening shakes my foot from the grave.
But I'm oh-so-quick to replace it.
