Nigeria In My Opinion

Lighter is its economy, floats slower than a feather, wasting resources, capable of becoming marketable leather, pollutes the air for citizens to suffer bad weather, expecting Yams from planting the seedlings of Onions, results to failure regardless of any opinion. A marriage, dangerous to the spouses’ sexualities and then the tussle for who’s the next principality without any regard to God and to humanity only sustains the fire of a bitter union, a truth accepted by, not just my opinion. The masses pay with all they’ve got in one offering, yet are used as unnecessary sacrifices to continue suffering but the best they can do is just to keep baffling on whose tribe or religion should take dominion, smiling in affliction is foolishness, in my opinion. Reduced to nothing for poverty to place its stickers Sycophants emerging from most of all its thinkers a once courageous Cat, now has lost its whiskers becoming a laughing stock in its international communion oh, this is a bitter fact and not just an opinion. A country on barefoot, not even on slippers encouraging ethnic robbers to be its Gate Keepers, rights deprived of its meals, even mere supper, mercenaries romanced as government companions. Nigeria is already doomed, that’s my strong opinion. Published: 6/24/2020 For the Opinion Poetry Contest sponsored by Kai Michael Neumann Position: 5th place [6/29/2020]

Strong stuff, unfortunately true. What a waste of splendid resources there, and a kick in the jaw to its citizens! G.L. in the contest, Funom.

I applaud you for bringing to light the grave injustices brought on your country by mercenaries and those from within as well who care nothing about their own citizens. VERY good work, Funom and I am sorry you have to witness this. It's happening all over the world, so we are all together in the plot of evil encompassing our globe. But especially for the poverty and suffering of your motherland, I am sorry.

WoW! So sorry to hear about all the problems and suffering that could be avoided if you had the right people in power. However I fear we may be headed in the same direction here. My husband says that a politician is just a well educated mobster in an expensive suit. I'm inclined to agree with him. God Bless my friend and I will pray for your well being. JB

Thank you so much John, I hope so, even though I strongly doubt so. Nigeria is already a confirmed failed state.

Funom its always helpful to read a residents view. The perspective I would add as someone who is old enough to remember your independence as part of my living English history is an analogy to English independence itself,(less than century old,)not finally achieved til 1928 when every person obtained the vote, and 1944 when everyone here could be educated for free and 1948 when the same happened for heaithcare. These are the three basic key facets.

Thank you so much Brian Strand.. Nigeria suffers them all... Its citizens have rights to absolutely NOTHING! Not even to LIFE! The government has become the state's terrorists, importing tribal mercenaries for ethnic cleansing of the land in over to take over.. The problems are just too enormous to count. Nigeria as it is today is already a failed state. Thank you so much for your contribution
